Lyric Theory Reading Group Tues 10/29 @ 5:15pm

The Poetry & Poetics Colloquium invites you to the first meeting of the Lyric Theory Reading Group coordinated by Kayla Boyden and S. Yarberry.

For our first session, we will read three short essays:

“General Introduction” to The Lyric Theory Reader ed. Yopie Prins and Virginia Jackson (7 pages)

“Lyric, History, and Genre” by Jonathan Culler (18 pages)

“Poetry is Not a Luxury” by Audre Lorde (2 pages)
